ORAL HYGIENE

The removal of the bacterial plaque prevents the onset of caries, gingivitis and periodontitis. Correct oral hygiene techniques (toothbrush, dental floss and periodic checks by the hygienist) maintain perfect oral health.

PEDODONTICS

Prevention of caries is obtained with a healthy diet and oral hygiene regularly at the age, administration of fluoride and sealing of furrows of the milk and definitive teeth, this stimulates young patients to learn the correct maintenance of oral health.

ORTHODONTICS

The visit of the child toward the age of 6 allows the specialist to observe the position of the teeth, the bone development of the two arches and, importantly, his oral hygiene in the event that a future orthodontics therapy may be more successful.

Modern orthodontics can be mobile, fixed of functional and, in some case, it’s possibile to apply the so-called “invisible orthodontics“(a series of transparent and removable masks that gradually align the teeth and maintains a beautiful smile during the treatments).

DENTAL AESTHETICS

The dental aesthetics aims to make the smile as pleasant as possible, through the whitening of the teeth (bleaching) up to the application of ceramic veneers to permanently cover aesthetic defects in the frontal dental elements, in a indistinguishable way from the natural ones.

CONSERVATIVE

The preservation aims to eliminate the caries, that destroyed part of the tooth enamel, by replacing it with composite materials of the same original color.

With the use of modern adhesive liners and photo-hardening lamps, the preparation of the decayed tooth is much reduced, compared to the past, in favor of the “conservation” of enamel.

ENDODONTICS

Using the last generation techniques and tools, it’s possibile to save teeth otherwise destined for extraction and also elements already endodontically treated can be successfully retreated.

The loss of teeth, not replaced over time, causes significant damage to the stomatognatic system, ranging from migration of proximal elements to the extrusion of antagonists to postural problems.

PROSTHODONTICS

The replacement of missing teeth occurs with the application of removable appliances (in resin or nylon), or fixed (single crowns or bridges) on natural teeth or implants.

The materials used are, for fixed prosthesis, ceramic or zirconia without metal structures, and offer excellent functionality and the best aesthetics.

IMPLANTOLOGY

Implantology is the branch of dentistry that replaces the missing teeth with the insertion of new artificial titanium teeth, which, once healing has taken place, will be the support on which to apply single crown or bridges, capable to restoring the normal chewing and aesthetics function.

Bone integration varies from 4 to 6 months, but in particular cases it’s possibile to place the temporary crown in the same session as the insertion of implant and in a subsequent session the final ceramic one (immediate load implant).

CONSCIOUS SEDATION

Doctor Badalassi was one of the first in Rome to introduce conscious sedation into the dental practices which, carried out by a specialist anesthesiologist, allows the operator in complex cases or long treatments, to have the maximum collaboration of the patient in a serene and free risk atmosphere.
